ENGEL: New Audio Interview Available

An audio interview with ENGEL guitarist Niclas Engelin (PASSENGER, ex-GARDENIAN, IN FLAMES) conducted by Karma E. Omowale of the FourteenG metalzine on April 26, 2008 can be heard at this location.

ENGEL the Gothenburg, Sweden-based quintet featuring guitarists Marcus Sunesson (ex-THE CROWN) and Engelin, drummer Mojjo (RELEVANT FEW, DRACENA),vocalist Mangan Klavborn, and bassist Michael Hkansson (ex-EVERGREY) will support SYSTEM OF A DOWN frontman Serj Tankian on June 11 at Train in Aarhus, Denmark.

"Absolute Design", the debut album from ENGEL received its long-awaited U.S. release on May 20 via SPV/Steamhammer.

IN FLAMES frontman Anders Fridn helped his old friend Niclas (both played together in PASSENGER) record demos and assisted in the production of the CD at Dug-Out Studios in Uppsala with Daniel Bergstrand (producer of IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH).
